Gallery Show

Just a general announcement, for those of you who will be in/around Eau Claire in May. A few of my photos from South Africa are going to be in a gallery show at Infinitea Teahouse. It'll be up for the month and will feature several local photographers work from abroad. I'm not sure what night the opening will be but you should all come and tell me I'm a master of the universe. . . or you know, say hi and have a cup of tea. Even if you don't go to see my stuff, everyone really should hit that place up. It's all loose leaf tea and while we all know I LOVE coffee, I'm beginning to convert. . . they have like 150 different flavors and it's not like bag tea where it just tastes like flavored water, it's amazing, trust me on this.

I'm post again when I know more details!

This is in Cato Manor, a township outside of Durban (the city I lived in in South Africa), I brought a Polaroid camera cause I thought the kids would like a picture of themselves that they could keep. I took one picture and that kid ran off and showed his friends and by the end of the tour I had a line of like 20 kids following me asking for a picture like the first kid's, this is the impromptu photo shoot that followed :-D

Thanks! I LOVE my tattoo, I'm going to get my second pretty soon here, wish I could go back to the same place but that would end up being a $3000 tattoo... which is a bit out of my price range :-(

where in SA are you from? I spent last summer in Durban at UKZN Howard campus. I miss it so much!

Actually I work for a newspaper, that's how I got into the Obama event. I'm still in college right now so I'm just trying to build up my portfolio so I can get a job in a dyeing industry when I graduate.
